Hey! So Glad You're Here.
I'm Blue Darlene Palma who is currently a meowmy of three (3) lovable cats somewhere in Rizal, Philippines. I have never encountered cats until me and my ex adopted a cat, where the cat still lives at my ex's household. It was late February 2020 that I decided to adopt a cat of my own from a friend whose cat was pregnant at that time, and that was the first kitten I brought home that leads me to be an ailurophile or cat lover right now.

Taking care of a cat is like suddenly having a toddler that you need to care of, and it also means consuming a lot of things like litter, cat food, toys, bedding, and many more that will produce disposable plastics. However, I am an individual who strives to lessen the plastic waste I produce, therefore, I decided to incorporate zero waste in my cats' life as well. It is not an easy journey but I am taking little steps, and I want to share it with my fellow meowmies who also struggle to lessen their waste. With this idea, hence, the birth of this personal blog.

As a meowmy, I learned that there are a lot of cat owners who still need guidance in taking care of their furbabies. I also use this medium not only to share my zero waste cat care tips but also to share other essential cat care tips from vets and other meowmies. At the same time, I plan to use this platform for me to help other rescuers get their rescued cat gets adopted.
Get To Know My Furbabies.
The unbothered alpha cat, Minggyu, is a Permese (Siamese + Persian) cat that is mostly chill and quiet. He is the first cat that I adopted from my friend, whose cat was pregnant at the time I was looking for a cat to adopt. Minggyu's personality is mature but also has a hidden quirkiness and playfulness during night time. He is definitely the strongest and biggest among them.
What's surprising about him is that he loves to show affection to us by kissing or marking our legs. He is also the only one who wants to be caressed by us most of the time. He likes sleeping in high places like my dresser cabinet. It's rare to see a cat who likes to take vitamins and have their teeth brushed but Minggyu is one of them, except bathing, he hates bathing, so we just wipe him good with a wet towel every week. Minggyu is also the most photogenic among them. Minggyu's trademark is his mad poker face.

The friendly fluffy kitty, Danbi, is a Persian diluted tuxedo cat that gets along with other cats quickly. My mom bought her as a company for Minggyu, so he won't get bored alone. She is also the cat that I brought to the vet a couple of times because she has multiple diseases when she first came to our home. The breeder neglected her and sold her for a very low price. Turns out she has ear mites, has internal parasites inside her bloated stomach, looks malnourished, has feline acne, and some mange.
We treated her every day with ho,e remedies, and vet prescribed medications. Now, she still has mild feline acne but overall she's healthy. Danbi is also the most patient among them but loves playing with strings and hair. My mom can bathe her well without getting scratched or bitten. She fell asleep whenever I clean her ears and nose by removing the booger. She love's to sleep in dark places such as under my bed frame. Danbi's trademark is her gentle "meow" and sleeping on her back with her arm & legs open.
The playful kiddo, Jiho, is a ginger Puspin cat with a marble pattern and the youngest among them. I've always wanted marble ginger and lucky I was able to find a for free adoption kitten near my place. Jiho is one of the litters of the mama cat of the previous owner, unfortunately, she is allergic to cats so she can only keep the mama cat and her kittens were adopted by me and the others.
Jiho is very hyper and curious about so many things. He also loves initiating rough play with his brother, Minggyu, and sister, Danbi but he always loses because he is so tiny. Since Jiho does not have a tail, he likes to catch the tails of my other cats. He follows Minggyu and Danbi anywhere and disturbs them. His trademark is his long whistle meow sounds like a crying dolphin
