What we might think healthy might not be really healthy for our furbabies.

Every cat owners wants their best for their furbabies especially when it comes to the food they eat. In the Philippines, there are a lot of variety of cat food brands that you can choose from but not all of them are good for an everyday food for your cats.
Wet cat food are better than dry cat foods, which has more fillers than real fish or meat. However, wet cat food is more expensive, but I hope all all cat owners will be more aware that not all cat food a good for cats especially for cats with pure breeds because they are not like puspins that are mixbreed and hybrid. I made a list based on a veterinarian’s advice of the cat food brands and if the brand you want to buy is not included in the list, I also made a criteria that you need to consider when when buying a cat fry food.
Brands Recommended by the Vet These brands are well trusted and healthy for your cats and some of them are organic.
KitCat
Meowmix
Orijen
Reflex
Royal Canin
Science Diet
SmartHeart
Not Recommendable Brands These are some of the local brands that is cheaper but daily intake of this can cause UTI, Kidney Stones, and/or other Urinary Tract diseases to your cats. To avoid vet bills, I would not recommend these brand for to be their DAILY usual diet, it’s okay to feed them seldom times with these brands.
Princess
Special Cat Food
Whiskas
IAMS
So-so Brands These are brands that you can give to your cat, they are fine but not better than the recommended brands.
Cuties Cat
Fancy Feast
Frieskies
Special Cat Urinary
Organic Brands Organic brands lacks protein (which is the primary nutrient that cat needs) so it is best mixed with a dry cat food brand that has high in protein for cats. For my cat, I buy and mix Powercat and Cuties together.
Aozi
Monello
Nutram
Organix
Powercat
